About PRoject
The three dimensional desktop scanner was developed for a Liverpool based company “Spiral Scratch ltd. It has developed technology to scan 3D objects and convert them into 3D images complete with texture and color, which can be manipulated, re-colored, modified and can act as any normal 3D image or model. The project was the part of dissertation submitted for Masters in product design and management at University of Liverpool.

About PRoject
The device is comprised of three basic components, illumination device, turntable and camera, and the design provided sufficient room for the same. The following concept is a completely enclosed version of this 3D scanner developed for semiprofessional market segment where accuracy needs to be improved by reducing noise due to ambient light.
